Thanks for the encouragment:
Situations like you are referring to about people misunderstanding each others gifts and heart motivations are common among us. People have become so used to being pressured by others to evangelize or something else, that the issue becomes a "hot button" for them.
The very word "evangelism" becomes a turn off! How sad.
The other side of the coin is that we miss something of the true joy of the Lord when we can no longer rejoice in the work of the Gospel through and toward others.
We all have a part to play in the expansion of the Kingdom of God in our day, even if it is just to pray, "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven."
The will of God is done in the earth when people are born from above, seeing and entering the Kingdom of God, so that His righteousnes, peace and joy begins to flow through them!
"One plants, another waters, but GOD gives the increase!"
Paul did not worry so much even about wrong motives. He rejoiced mainly in that Christ is preached! Of course it is better to have the right vision and motives, but our God seems content to use imperfect persons such as ourselves anyway!

Again, exactly who are these "very theological people" you referred to who hold that these words of Jesus were "prophetic only" OR prophetically fulfilled in the Temple destruction?
In the mouth's of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.
blessings to you, my brother up north,
