Gee, how do they ever get along without building funds, youth directors,
mission boards, bus ministries and sound systems?

Dear believers,

just before I am going to look for some sunny place in Mallorca I want to
introduce myself and to throw up one question.
I am a professional choreographer and ballet teacher, working for the
Flemish Ministry of Education. As a non trinitarian Baptist I do believe it
is very important to spread the Good News. Since a few months some sincere
believers in JHWH (Jehovah or Yahweh) coming from different denominations,
namely: ex Jehovah Witnesses, Pentecostal, Adventist, started also meeting
at their homes to open their meeting place for anybody who wants to study
the bible and give their honours to the Messiah and the Only One God.
Belgium is really a mission ground. Most of the population calls it self
(Roman) Catholic, but does not do anything to go deeper into religion.
Churches are nearly empty. Except the year they are going to do there
communion you see them irregular in the services. After that they seem to
have done their deeds until somebody gets married or dies. Therefore, in
respect for what Jesus had done for us, we are trying to get out as in the
first time of Christianity to get them back closer to God. In the
homechurches we want to provide the visitors with sufficient and good
introduction material to the bible and the reasons why to acknowledge a God
who has a Name. Being mainly non Trinitarians this gives already a problem,
because there is not much available material in Dutch to give away.
(Leaflets, flyers and tracts, and not yet a really good modern Dutch
translation without trinitarian notes). We seriously are thinking to going
to make them ourselves, except for a bible translation (because we have no
Greek and Hebrew scholar). We want to be open to anybody but in my eyes it
is better that we do not confuse people by bringing in conflicting opinions.
I know that the majority of Christians is trinitarian but next to Jehovah
Witnesses there are enough conscious people who think it is really time to
preach the Gospel and to let them know His name ,
bless you all,

Marcus Ampe

Dear Marcus,

Welcome! Don't worry about the "trinitarian notes", just get the
clearest Bible you can find in Dutch, and dig in. The Holy Spirit can
work salvation around the errors of human understanding and translation.
The important thing is to introduce people to a personal relationship
with the Word of God. Where the "trinity" is concerned, no one can
really wrap their mind around that any way. Every time we try to explain
it, we become border line heretical. Isn't it enough to say that God is
source; God is thought; and God is Word, and it's all God.

Come to the wedding feast, and invite others with you.

Yours in Christ,

Jay

I'm with Jay,

I am a Trinitarian that has suffered a lot at the hands on non-Trinitarians,
BUT our job is not to preach our favourite doctrine, but to preach Jesus.
Difficult doctrines are for a little bit further down the road. Let's preach
Jesus together, before doctrines that divide.

Blessings,
Keith

Eph 4: 11: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fulness
of Christ:
1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles,
secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings,
helps, governments, diversities of languages.
In case we keep a clean heart and acknowledge that it is God working in us
we can count on His blessings. Therefor let us work together and be builders
in Jehovah's Name. We are thankful that He allows us to build upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, and Jesus Christ himself being the
chief corner-stone (Ephesians 2:20).

Bless you.
Yours sincerely,
Marcus Ampe

Dear Dick,
Acts 22:15 For thou shalt be his witness to all men of what thou hast seen
and heard.
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that
bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of
good, that publisheth salvation; that saith to Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Everything we have comes from God. In a certain we do we have nothing from
ourselves. In case we want to do the work for God, we may trust He is going
to guide and help us.

Rom 10: 15 But, how will they preach if they are not sent forth? Just as it
has been written, ìHow beautiful are the feet of those proclaiming the
Evangel of good things.î

So let us pray that those willing to do the work we are ordained to do,
shall be sanctified and receive for the fulfillement and success of
evangelisation. That is the beauty of God His work with us.
Bless you.
Yours sincerely,
Marcus Ampe

The problem is that people can get trapped by an organisation. By non
trinitarian as well by Trinitarians there are groups who do more bad than
good to the believe in God and the Messiah. Giving each other the hand is
therefore an important happening to let Jesus Christ His Church grow. But
let us as well be aware about the dangers of intermixing with religious
groups, prophets, and ecumenical organisations.

Bless you.
Yours sincerely,
Marcus Ampe
