It depends who your asking Vanesa.

If your asking me,I take a fairly standard Trinitarian line that Jesus is
God. God is one and indivisible. He comes from the Father but was not
created or made by the Father. Like wise the Holy Spirit, comes from the
Father and the Son but was neither created nor made by the Father or the
Son. The three are of the same substance. Essentially being one and yet
manifesting three distinct natures or persons (not personalities, or God is
does not have MPD) Each of the persons of the Godhead, demonstrate His unity
and oneness. Jesus said "I and the Father are one, he who has seen me has
seen the Father". And yet In the garden Jesus cried out to His Father, on
the cross, it was into His Father's hands He commended His Spirit.

The majority of Unitarians that I meet fall into the old heresy of
monarchical modalism. They would essentially agree with Trinitarians, that
God is one and indivisible, but then they would say that God presents
himself in three modes (or disguises). This leads to lots of questions:

Who did Jesus pray to?

When Jesus died on the cross, who resurrected Him, or did he not really die,
so that he could resurrect himself?

Why did Jesus ask us to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit? I know that many Unitarians don't accept this formula, but in not
accepting it, they either choose to directly disobey the Lord, or
demonstrate that they do not accept the bible as being inerrant. They are in
a whole either way that effectively separates them from the mainstream.

I could go on. When I once taught the trinity in a "one-ness" church here
(quite unknowing that it was), the local Unitarian leaders declared war on
me. They lied, stole, cheated and even tried to separate our children from
us. They told folk who came to us for English lessons that we were a
dangerous sect, thus almost brining us to financial ruin. We maintained
silence, apart from a simple letter positively putting our point of view
over the trinity, and saying nothing about those attacking us, that we sent
to folk who contacted us. There were precious few, many chose to believe the
lies, and are only now coming to re-establish ties some 5 or 6 years down
the line. All of the Unitarians hullabaloo, backfired on them, as the
majority of their members had no idea that they were not Trinitarian (they
carefully hid the fact in a lot of words). Many left, and since have been
very wary of joining any other church. There have been other problems too.
The leader of the group, who was a popular conference speaker, has seen his
conferences fall to zero, over recent years. I know that not all uni groups
are like this one. But when you get your fingers burnt you stay away from
the fire.

Blessings to all (trinis and unis)
Keith

Same situation here in Venezuela, and most are pentecostals who jump as if
possessed by demons at worship! I am reminded of Paul saying not to speak
in tongues at church, but in private, for others coming in could be scared
away. These people speak in tongues like crazy, and I'm sure many are
acting in order to feel 'accepted' because their 'prophet' or 'apostle'
says its the right thig to do.

I must say I speak in tongues in private much more than any of them. I
call that simple partial seizures (Paul is also believed to have had
epilepsy). BUT some things I've said HAVE been interpreted. Weird?

Dear Keith
Hello from India,
These days we were studying on trinity in our housegroups in two places.I
did not much understand the Unitarian and Trinity Concept that you have
mentioned.

Do the unitarrians beleive God is one but Jesus is the disguise of God as
human being or Jesus as a distinct personality within the Godhead?.Could you
clarify on this.

For a rational explanation we quote
God as Water with three Physical forms like water, steam and Ice but the same
component

Also one person like myself ..I am husband to my wife, father to my child and
son to my parents ...three distinct forms of existance but same person..
Do they sound weak in the logic of understanding trinity ?
Please comment
In Christ
